注維摩詰經 6.186

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [6.186](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1775.6.186)

> \[Kumāra\]jīva says: Views of existence and non-existence run contrary to the true characteristics of dharmas; this is called perversion. One first sees existence and non-existence, and then differentiates between attractive and repulsive. Thus, views of existence and non-existence are the basis of defiling delusions and the beginning of false thinking; hence they are specifically given the name of perversion. \[Seng\]zhao says: Dharmas originally do not exist; perverted thought takes them to exist. Once taking them to exist, one then selects between their fine and bad \[qualities\], which is called conceptual differentiation. \[Dao\]sheng says: When the deluded mind turns inward, it becomes perversion; thereafter, it falsely differentiates external matters.
