- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [6.52](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1775.6.52)

> \[Seng\]zhao says: Cutting off a person's hands and feet, separating a person's wife and children, and forcefully demanding state wealth produce their grief and sorrow; although there is a small suffering before their eyes, it brings about great peace for eternal eons. This arises from deeply contemplating people's faculties and weighing the light and the heavy; those who see what is near and do not reach what is distant are incapable of doing this.
