- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.10](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1775.7.10)

> \[Kumāra\]jīva says: The five acts of immediate retribution are sinful karma. From hell to hungry ghosts are the retributions of evil destinies. \[Seng\]zhao says: The five rebellious sins inevitably arise from vexation and malice; one who commits these sins, upon casting off the body, inevitably enters hell to undergo suffering without intermission. The bodhisattva demonstrates committing the five rebellious sins without vexation or malice; this is because, not considering rebellion as rebellion, he can participate in rebellion. If one considered rebellion as rebellion, who would dare participate in it?
