- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.152](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1775.7.152)

> \[Kumāra\]jīva says: Because the profound mind has faithful joy, it can cultivate good. Being at the forefront of good is like a garland being upon the head. It is also said that the profound mind elucidates the various goods, just as a flower garland embellishes the body and clothing.
> \[Seng\]zhao says: The profound mind is the supreme ornament of the dharmakāya, just as a flower garland is upon the head.
> \[Dao\]sheng says: A flower garland serves as a head ornament and binds the hair so it is not disheveled. The profound mind is the beginning of regulating conduct, hence it is used as a metaphor.
