- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [8.152](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1775.8.152)

什曰：大怒則狂，大喜亦迷，宜攝汝香防其惑因。問曰：若然者，云何不攝香飯？答曰：佛神力故，能杜其惑原、發其道意，故不攝也。

> \[Kumāra\]jīva says: Great anger leads to madness, and great joy also leads to delusion; you ought to restrain your fragrances to prevent the causes of their delusion. Question: If so, why not restrain the fragrant food? Answer: Because of the Buddha's supernatural power, it is able to block the source of delusion and arouse the aspiration for the Way; therefore it is not restrained.
