注維摩詰經 9.316

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [9.316](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1775.9.316)

肇曰：法身無在而無不在，無在故不在方，無不在故不離方。生曰：東感則東、西感則西，豈在方哉？然是佛之應，復不得言方非佛也，故言不在不離也。

> \[Seng\]zhao says: The dharmakāya is nowhere, yet nowhere absent. Because it is nowhere, it is not located in a direction; because it is nowhere absent, it is not separated from a direction. \[Dao\]sheng says: Responding in the east when stimulated in the east, responding in the west when stimulated in the west, how could it be located in a direction? Yet since it is the response of the Buddha, one cannot say that direction is not the Buddha; therefore it is said to be neither located nor separated.
