- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [3.24](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1776.3.24)

> From here below, second, Mañjuśrī replies in full. The word "Eastern" specifies the directional location. Saying "passing thirty-six Ganges sands of lands" reveals the distance. Saying "there is a world named Sumeru Manifestation" lists the name of the land. The Buddha is named Sumeru, revealing the Buddha's appellation. "His body is eighty-four thousand yojanas tall" clarifies the appearance of the Buddha's body. "His seat is eighty-four thousand yojanas high, decorated and adorned foremost" explains the appearance of his seat. Saying that it is eighty-four thousand yojanas high means that the Buddha's seat is equal in measure to the Buddha; the disciples' seats are half as high as this. Being born of supramundane wholesome roots, its adornment is therefore foremost.
