> This Vimalakīrti Sūtra is the Mahāyāna Vaipulya teaching; employing four rounds of siddhāntas to preach in response to conditions is called 'noble preaching of Dharma'; that the four kinds of four truths are all ineffable is called 'noble silence.' Just as the thirty-two bodhisattvas use the fourth round of siddhāntas to preach the one true truth and enter the dharma-door of non-duality, which is called 'noble preaching of Dharma'; that the four one-true-truths are all ineffable is called 'noble silence.' Just as Vimalakīrti stopped his mouth and ultimately had no speech, which is true silence.
