> "Abode" means abiding in the three virtues of nirvāṇa: first, the Dharma-body; second, wisdom (prajñā); third, liberation. These three are neither vertical nor horizontal, like the secular letter "i" (∴), and are called the secret treasury. The generation of the real mind is itself the Dharma-body; the generation of the mind of revealing causes is itself wisdom; the generation of the mind of conditioning causes is itself liberation. When the three minds are generated, they are identical to the secular letter "i"; the practitioner of nominal designation, by means of non-abiding dharmas, abides in these three minds, which is abiding in the secret treasury of the three virtues of nirvāṇa; hence it is called the abode of the initial generation of the mind.
