> Answer: If it is conceivable liberation with remainder, one realizes reality and enters the cessation of perception and feeling (saṃjñā-vedayita-nirodha), resembling the dharma of nirvāṇa; abiding within the body, one realizes the cessation of perception and feeling, just like a corpse, incapable of any function. If one enters liberation without remainder, ash-like body and extinguished consciousness, just like empty space, there is nothing one can enact. If the two bodies—the physical body and dharma-body—abide in inconceivable liberation, they can display all manner of transformations, as fully explained in this sūtra's chapter 'Inconceivable'; thus Vimalakīrti rebuked Śāriputra, saying, 'Without arising from the cessation trance, yet manifesting all deportments—this is quiet sitting.'
