- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [3.107](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1778.3.107)

> "Born from severing all unwholesome dharmas and gathering all wholesome dharmas": Bodhisattvas of the four teachings each use wisdom-practice to sever views and thoughts, and action-practice to sever ignorance—this is called severing the unwholesome. Wisdom-practice gathers wholesome dharmas that take principle as object, while action-practice gathers the wholesome nature that takes phenomena as object, inducing the four dharmakāyas, so that all evils are permanently severed and all goods are universally assembled. However, in the two teachings of distinct and perfect, severance and gathering beyond the realms are distinguished differently.
