> From "All" up to "has entered" is the second \[subpart\], clarifying that because the virtues of cause and effect are complete, he is worthy of reverent difficulty. "The methods of all bodhisattvas" refers to the expedient and real methods. It also refers to the standard models of practice. Neither expedient nor real, he is nevertheless able to penetrate the expedient and real methods, practicing them himself and teaching others; not only does he completely know them, he is also able to fulfill them; because his causal virtues are complete, he is worthy of reverent difficulty. In "there is none of the secret treasuries of all buddhas that he has not entered," the two expedients and the one real each have the secret treasury clarified in their respective teachings. Viewing the expedient from the standpoint of the real, the expedient follows others and is not a true secret treasury; the real follows oneself, and having long kept silent about this essential without hastily expounding it, it is the true secret treasury. Each treasury and all dharma-gates constitute the meaning of "treasury"; hence the Lotus Sūtra says: "All the various treasuries are completely filled." His fruitional virtues are on the verge of completion, hence it says "there is none that he has not entered." Having achieved fruitional virtue, he is profoundly worthy of reverent difficulty.
