The text has two parts: first, transforming others; second, one's own practice. In transforming others, she aspires to seek all three; in her own practice, she seeks only the Great Vehicle. Regarding the initial statement that she aspires to seek all three vehicles: if it were a bodhisattva of the shared teaching who lacks the root of the dharmakāya, he could not give rise to response manifestations and would have no transformation into the three vehicles. Now, however, the separate and complete teachings receive the capacities of the three vehicles of the shared teaching, and so she manifests the three vehicles, aspiring to all and employing all.
