維摩經略疏 8.82

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [8.82](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1778.8.82)

「舍利弗至女身」，二、身子以女身答。「不知何所變」者，明身子三藏神力乃勝目連，終是思議，故不能制菩薩神力，故為天所轉。今不思議非思議所知，故云不知何轉也，成上如前。

> From "Śāriputra to female body" is the second \[part\], where Śāriputra answers in a female body. Saying "I do not know into what I have been transformed" explains that although Śāriputra's Tripiṭaka supernatural power surpassed Maudgalyāyana's, it was ultimately conceivable; therefore, it could not overcome the bodhisattva's supernatural power, and so he was transformed by the goddess. Now, the inconceivable is not something conceivable knowledge can know; hence he says he does not know into what he has transformed, completing the previous point as before.
