> Second, from 'this is then' below, concluding designations to explain and establish \[the meaning\], in two parts: first, concluding designation. As for 'this is according to sentiment and awakening,' because of following the sentiments of faculties, the gates through which one enters are unequal, yet the principle entered is one. As for 'this is explained with respect to principle,' the principle entered is solely silent, yet when discussing those who can enter, it cannot but be diverse; thus Jingming shutting his mouth and all the nobles speaking individually are simply the outer and inner for each other. As for 'dual and non-dual,' Jingxi says: 'Like the preceding ten gates eliminating entering and not entering. Those who enter are skewed or perfect; the perfect is non-dual, while the skewed is dual; only the non-dual is the gate now entered. Duality is indeterminate: it may be heterodox or correct, small or great, solely phenomenal or solely principled, or distinct in a single meaning, or preserved or eliminated, as fully eliminated below. One should know it is to eliminate the duality of non-entry; if one attains entry, one is free from the preceding lapses.'
