二、「問」下釋疑。荊溪云：次難別中從因所以。既有通果，何事立因？答中引《大智論》及以《涅槃》並證從因，則為因果各有文也。且引翻名助從因義，故棄惡言定不唯果。

> Second, under "Question," resolving doubts. Jingxi says: Next, in challenging the specific, \[it asks\] the reason for following the cause. Since there is a common fruit, for what purpose is a cause established? In the answer, it cites the \*Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa\* and the \*Nirvāṇa \[Sūtra\]\* to both testify to following the cause; thus there is textual support for both cause and fruit respectively. Furthermore, it cites translated terms to support the meaning of following the cause; hence the words "abandoning evil" definitely do not pertain solely to the fruit.
