> Third, manifesting acquiring worldly profit. In the text, he first explains in terms of worldly profit; next, from 'furthermore' onward, he explains in terms of the Dharma-gate. Regarding 'His traces identical to ordinary worldlings,' and so on: \[Seng\]zhao says: 'To a Great Being of the dharmakāya, rubble and tiles are all precious jewels.' If so, then people would not value his generosity; hence, in principle he is identical in seeking profit—how could there be joy and pleasure? The sūtra says 'xieou' (joining as partners); the Erya says: 'Xie means harmony; ou means meeting and uniting.'
