> Fifth, the six supernormal powers. Jingxi says: The six supernormal powers pertain to the fruition, yet \[the dharmakāya\] also arises from the six supernormal powers; before residual habit is exhausted, although one is seen as having five supernormal powers, this is merely deferring to the fruition, while in reality one has already attained the undefiled supernormal powers. Therefore, from the causal six the fruition six are produced. The Separate and Perfect teachings also borrow the names of the fruition. Thus we know that there is also the differentiation of the six in the cause to achieve the six of the fruition.
