> Second, analysis and evaluation, in two: first, revealing that it is subsumed under the Perfect Teaching. Jingxi says: "Neither biased nor perfect: it may also be said to be both biased and perfect, which is precisely the Separate Teaching; biased and perfect are distinguished in terms of before and after the grounds." Second, distinguishing the marks in contrast to the Buddha eye. Regarding "named the Buddha heavenly eye": intending to distinguish it from the biased, the character 'Buddha' is added. By analogy, all four eyes should have 'Buddha' added to demarcate and differentiate them. Regarding the Diamond Prajñā \[Sūtra\]: the Buddha questioned through the five eyes, and Subhūti answered in all cases that they exist, fully as cited earlier.
