> Commentary: Here there are three virtues: first, the virtue of the three karmas being preceded by wisdom, because all actions of the three karmas are guided by wisdom and forethought; second, the virtue of complete fruition karma, because of abiding in the Buddha's deportment, walking like a bull king, striding like an elephant king, and the like; third, the virtue of wondrously realizing the profound and vast, because of entering the ocean of mind and wisdom. 'Mind' refers to true reality; the Śrīmālādevī-sūtra speaks of the intrinsically pure mind. 'Wisdom' is the wisdom of bodhi. Both are profound and vast like a great ocean; being skillfully able to realize and penetrate them is called 'entering'. The old translation's 'whose mind is as vast as the ocean' lacks this meaning.
