There are two parts: first, praising; later, encouraging. This is praising. "Most revered" is because the practice is supremely high. "Most superior practice" is because it surpasses others. "Most elevated" is because the practice is foremost. "Most wondrous" is because the practice is subtle and wholesome. "Unsurpassed" is because nothing comes before it. Alternatively, according to their order, the first four are superior to offering food and drink, clothing, bedding, and medicine. The single "unsurpassed" is because, through the previous four superior qualities, its substance is unsurpassed. Furthermore, through the Dharma-offering, one is able to attain the uncorrupted five aggregates of the dharmakāya, namely the five aggregates of morality, concentration, wisdom, liberation, and the knowledge and vision of liberation, matching them in sequence.
