金光明經文句記 2.162

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.162](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1786.2.162)

二、「此即」下，總釋身壽量。上言非無不者，若據次文，義當雙非。以其法體離於二邊及超報應，彊於此理立身、壽、量三種名字，令物忘情也。

> Second, from "This is..." onward: a general explanation of body, lifespan, and measure. As for the earlier statement of "neither non-existent nor...", if based on the subsequent text, the meaning corresponds to double negation. Because the substance of this dharma is free from the two extremes and transcends reward and response, one forcefully establishes the three names—body, lifespan, and measure—upon this principle, in order to make sentient beings forget their \[deluded\] attachments.
