即利他中不欲行障。所說義，義無礙解。及名句文，法無礙解。於此二中未得自在，云未得善巧。於詞者，諸方音聲。故《成唯識論》云「法緣名等，詞緣於聲。」故詞是聲。辯才者，即七辯才。於現音聲及七辯才不自在故，名不隨意。由第八地於利他中不欲行故，未能除此四無礙愚，故入九地即能永斷。

> This is the obstacle of having no desire to act within parārtha. "Expounded meanings" refers to the unimpeded understanding of meaning (artha-pratisaṃvid). "Names, phrases, and syllables" refers to the unimpeded understanding of phenomena (dharma-pratisaṃvid). Not yet having attained mastery regarding these two is called "not yet having attained skillfulness." "Speech" (nirukti) refers to sounds of various regions; thus the Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi says: "Dharma takes names and the like as its object; speech takes sounds as its object." Hence speech is sound. "Eloquence" refers to the seven kinds of eloquence. Because one lacks mastery over manifested sounds and the seven kinds of eloquence, it is called "lacking freedom." Because on the eighth ground one has no desire to act within parārtha, one has not yet eliminated the folly concerning these four unimpeded \[understandings\]; therefore, upon entering the ninth ground one is able to sever them forever.
