> "Uninterrupted regarding the Tathāgata-gotra" means that its nature is completely fused and unobstructed. As for "four kinds": first, the dharma of own-nature is the inherently pure mind of the tathāgatagarbha. Second, the dharma devoid of own-nature means this nature is free from grasping at an intrinsic nature. Third, attaining the noble \[state of\] personal realization is the Tathāgata's ultimate awakening and wisdom. Fourth, the excellence of external lands refers to the Tathāgata's compassionate vows, adorning lands and gathering sentient beings in various superior ways. The \*Ru Lengqie\* says: "The dharmas realized are of three kinds," which combines the dharma of own-nature and the dharma devoid of own-nature into one; these three kinds are the three bodies: dharmakāya, sambhogakāya, and nirmāṇakāya. As for "when the manifestation from one's own mind of body, property, \[and abode\] is expounded," and so forth, the \*Ru Lengqie\* says: "Hearing of the inconceivable realm of the ālayavijñāna manifesting from one's own mind as body, property, and abode, if one is not frightened, terrified, or alarmed, one should know that this is the nature of the Tathāgata vehicle."
