- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.115](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1789.2.115)

> The two vehicles, regarding the svalakṣaṇa and sāmānyalakṣaṇa of the aggregates, realms, and sense-bases, apply the contemplations of suffering, emptiness, impermanence, and selflessness. Their wish to renounce and turn away from birth and death is intense, so they take no delight in habituating themselves to or approaching the realms of the six sense-objects. 'Do not hold inverted views' means severing the afflictions of view. 'Conceptual discrimination does not arise' means severing the afflictions of thought. Having extinguished suffering and accumulation and realized true emptiness, it is therefore said: 'in that state, they conceive the notion of nirvāṇa.'
