> The first eight lines praise the correct meaning of the inner teaching. From "without a seed yet there is arising" downward versifies that falsely conceptualizing arising, cessation, existence, and nonexistence is not my taught Dharma. In the four lines beginning "neither tīrthikas," the Buddha means that whenever I speak of produced dharmas, they are not made by the Buddha nor by tīrthikas, nor are they created by a puruṣa or different causes; rather, they are aggregated and arise from the coming together of correct causes and conditions. However, speaking in terms of what has arisen, it cannot be called nonexistent. "Who gathers causes and conditions" and so forth means that dharmas produced by correct causes and conditions cannot be grasped by a self; who is existent, and who is nonexistent? As for what is discussed by wrong views, it is the false conceptualization of existence, nonexistence, arising, and cessation. If one knows that arising is originally non-arising and cessation is also not cessation, one naturally and wondrously accords with emptiness and tranquility, not falling into the two views of existence and nonexistence; hence it is said, "one leaves behind both existence and nonexistence."
