> “All causes and conditions: / From them the world arises; / Conceptual thought clings to the four propositions, / Ignorant of that to which I have penetrated. / The world is not arisen existent, / Nor is it arisen nonexistent; / It does not arise from existence and nonexistence, / Nor is it neither existence nor nonexistence. / Regarding all causes and conditions, / Why do the foolish falsely conceptualize: / Neither existent nor nonexistent, / And neither both existent and nonexistent? / When the Tathāgata observes the world, / The mind transforms and attains selflessness; / All natures are unarisen, / Because they arise from conditions. / All is made by conditions; / What is made does not exist of itself. / An effect does not of itself produce an effect, / Because of the fault of having two effects. / Because there is no fault of two effects, / No inherent nature can be obtained.”
