> This clarifies that when the Tathāgata expediently speaks of the real intrinsic nature of noble wisdom, there is no real mark that can be apprehended; it cuts off ordinary and noble measures and is corresponding only in personal realization. This generally answers the preceding five objections. Therefore he tells Mahāmati: It is not that I do not speak of the extinguished, empty Dharma that transcends views and sentiment, thereby falling into the view of existence. Why do I not fall into the view of existence? Because I have already spoken of the real Dharma realized by noble wisdom, which does not contradict the real intrinsic nature of true emptiness. Because sentient beings, lacking beginningless awakening, cling to existence and non-existence, with regard to the truly empty Dharma I speak through the truly non-empty matter of noble wisdom, so that having heard this Dharma, they will not give rise to the fear of annihilation or permanence, and can also, in accordance with the real Dharma I have realized, leave behind the marks of delusive parikalpa and enter the true nature of consciousness-only. Knowing that what they see has no separate external phenomena, awakening to the three liberation doors of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, obtaining the seal of true Dharma, and understanding the realm of the noble ones, they thereby leave behind all conceptual attachments of ordinary sentiment and noble measures regarding existence and non-existence.
