> The Tathāgata praised his understanding, saying that such a person is not merely one who falsely grasps lust, anger, and delusion as having nature and later removes them to make them nothing, who is called a destroyer of the Buddha's Dharma; \[such a view\] also destroys the noble ones of the three vehicles by claiming that they originally grasped lust, anger, and delusion as existent, and later eliminated lust, anger, and delusion to make them non-existent, thereby attaining the noble fruit. Why is this? It is because, for this destroyer of the Buddha's Dharma, the afflictions cannot be found internally or externally, and their essential nature is neither different nor not different. 'Internal' means the body, and 'external' means sensory dust. This means that if the internal body and external dust are unreal parikalpa, then no person can be found. Since a person does not even exist themselves, whence could lust, anger, delusion, and afflictions exist? Thus it is free from the tetralemma of nature. Therefore, one should know that those who falsely imagine that there is a person who cuts off afflictions and attains the noble fruit are persons who destroy the Buddha's Dharma.
