### [8.15](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1791.8.15)

以外道計除物無常，無有能令人天變化有無者，是故佛言人天依正一切諸法，生起滅壞實亦有因，但非凡愚之所能了。謂一念妄想是生起滅壞因，外道不知，故以物無常為因也。

> Because non-Buddhists assert that apart from the impermanence of an entity, there is nothing that can cause gods and humans to undergo transformation, existence, and non-existence, the Buddha therefore says that the arising, destruction, and ceasing of all dharmas—the primary and secondary retributions of gods and humans—indeed have a cause, but it is not something ordinary beings and fools can comprehend. That is, a single thought of parikalpa is the cause of arising, destruction, and ceasing; non-Buddhists do not know this, so they take the impermanence of an entity to be the cause.
