> Sixth, mutual subsumption: Each of these six subsumes \[all the others\], because all pāramitās are mutually accordant. The Prajñāpāramitopadeśa says, "The meaning of giving subsumes the six: material requisites, fearlessness, and the Dharma," and so forth. The Mahāprajñāpāramitāśāstra says, "There are pāramitās not yet adorned that do not subsume, and there are pāramitās already adorned that mutually subsume." Now, the text of this sūtra must fully subsume them. If only six are spoken of, the six subsume the latter four; if expanded into ten, the sixth subsumes only non-conceptual wisdom, while the latter four are all subsumed under subsequently attained wisdom.
