- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.966](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1795.1.966)

悔是不定之法，悔善則惡、悔惡則善故。今請永斷，即屬惡也。然入道人若未通決生佛同異，則或用功多時，反自疑悔。下三唱倣前。

> Regret is an indeterminate factor: because regretting what is wholesome is unwholesome, and regretting what is unwholesome is wholesome. Here, requesting that it be forever severed pertains to the unwholesome kind. Moreover, if a person who enters the Way has not yet thoroughly resolved the sameness and difference between sentient beings and the Buddha, then when they exert effort for a long time, they may conversely come to doubt and regret on their own. The three recitations below follow the previous format.
