Within the vajra-maṇḍala a jewel is made—that is, first a seat is placed in the center. Adorn the ground: upon the ground paint a lotus possessing manifold colors, and above the flower make a banner, with a jewel placed atop the banner. One does not paint the bodily form, but only paints the banner. If one makes this seal of the highest color, this is its form. That it is called 'the supreme form' is in praise of it, being the most excellent and wondrous among all seals. This Bodhisattva has an immeasurable retinue; now I speak briefly of their leaders. To the left, make the Bodhisattva's seal with a jewel; inside paint the seal, making it with diligence: a three-pronged vajra atop a precious jewel, making the seal simply upon the ground of jewels.
