- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.32](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1796.2.32)

> Second, “What is the mind free of greed? It means following non-defiled phenomena.” This means running contrary to the previous mind, even up to not generating aspiration or joy toward wholesome states that one should strive to seek. Therefore, both non-defilement and wholesome phenomena obstruct the sprout of goodness; having the same name as the undefiled mind but a different reality, it must be observed most carefully. Therefore, the practitioner should simply contemplate the true nature of the mind of greed, and naturally greed will not defile the mind; one should not give rise to such conduct of non-greed devoid of wisdom.
