- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [20.15](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1796.20.15)

> The twelfth is named All-Accomplishing (Sarvasiddha), meaning that he can fully accomplish everything; this refers to having completed what was to be done, abiding in the bodhimaṇḍa of cessation and subduing Māra. Moreover, it is like a class of sentient beings who commit evil that cannot be stopped; if one merely tries to admonish and guide them, it only increases their evil. If one lets them be, they will fall into evil destinies; therefore, through upāya, one subdues their bodies, causing them to close their eyes and know nothing at all, so that through this condition they are able to perform neither good nor evil. Next, one gradually guides them to enter the true Dharma, as described in the Vajraśekhara. Furthermore, the meaning of Vajrapāṇi subduing Maheśvara is explained as above. All these are the deeds of those who abide in the path of upāya.
