- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [3.42](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1799.3.42)

> First, refuting arising from the realm: the mutual refutation of unobstructedness and obstruction can be understood. "Made clear" means manifested clearly. Next, refuting arising from the faculty: if it arose from the faculty, then there would be no realm; without a realm there would be no faculty, because awareness is produced by dust. "Mechanism" also means faculty. Next, refuting arising from space: looking forward it would smell the realm, and returning it would smell the faculty; if space itself smells fragrance, what use is your nose?
