- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [4.204](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1799.4.204)

> This is giving rise to wonderful function. The first five lines mark two kinds of sovereignty. The two lines from 'without moving' down explain the sovereignty of one and many. The six lines from 'the body encompasses' down explain the sovereignty of large and small: the first two lines manifest the environment within the direct \[retribution\]; the two lines from 'on the tip of a single' manifest the direct and the environment within the direct, and also manifest the direct and environment within the environment; the two lines from 'sitting within a fine' manifest the direct within the environment; the remaining lines are contained within them and can be understood by meaning. The ten kinds of sovereignty in the Avataṃsaka are also not separate from this.
