四分律刪繁補闕行事鈔 2.10

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.10](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1804.2.10)

初中，五篇七聚，約義差分；正結罪科，止樹六法。今依六聚，且釋其名：一波羅夷，二僧伽婆尸沙，三偷蘭遮，四波逸提，五波羅提提舍尼，六突吉羅。此上六名，並無正譯；但用義翻，略知途路。

> In the first, the five classes and seven categories are distinguished according to their nuances of meaning; when directly enacting penalties for offenses, only six standards are established. Now, relying on the six categories, their names will be explained: first, pārājika; second, saṃghāvaśeṣa; third, sthūlātyaya; fourth, pāyattika; fifth, pratideśanīya; sixth, duṣkṛta. The above six names lack direct Chinese translations; they are only translated by their meaning so as to provide a rough understanding of the path.
