Among these, he committed pāyattika offenses regarding extra items, the number of which he does not recall; one pāyattika for being away from his saṃghāṭī; and the relinquished extra goods that he committed offenses regarding have already been used up and destroyed, and there are also fundamental pāyattika offenses, the number of which he does not recall. Now he begs the saṃgha for confession. If the time has arrived for the saṃgha, may the saṃgha consent and listen: I, the bhikṣu named so-and-so, shall receive the confession of the bhikṣu named so-and-so. This is the motion.'
