> If based on the Two Vehicles: the precepts pertain to body and speech; in transgressions, one interrogates the mind; grasping \[at them\] obstructs the path, being mundane good dharmas; contravening \[them\] obstructs the path and does not escape the three destinations. Concentration concerns name-and-form (nāmarūpa), taking conditioned cultivation of arising and ceasing as the principle; the Two Vehicles share the same contemplation, and there is also no distinction between the truths and conditions. Therefore the Foxing lun states: 'Persons of the Two Vehicles rely on deceptive and false contemplation of characteristics such as impermanence, taking this to be true suchness.' Wisdom adopts contemplative illumination; with concentration, it differs in meaning but is identical in substance.
