> In the fourth part, it first shows the proper etiquette. Pinching incense three times offers it to the Triratna. Facing the sthavira signifies acting on his behalf. Next, it explains the recitation of the verse: first, the karmadāna chants the announcement. From "This…" onward points out its source. Below, pointing to the expanded version, its text is already lost and cannot be traced. From "Each…" onward cites the verse text: the first half explains that which makes the offering, and the second half is what is offered. In the first part, the first line relies on the matter of that incense to signify the offering of Dharma. Wisdom and vision are comprehensively subsumed under liberation, so the fivefold \[dharmakāya of the\] Mahīśāsaka-vinaya is complete. Being in seven-character lines, one must not add to them arbitrarily. (Through wisdom one attains liberation, and through liberation one is endowed with vision; mentioning the middle subsumes the beginning and the end.) The second line signifies meditating internally, like that cloud of radiance. In what is offered, the first line explains seeking above, and the second line is transforming below. Nirvāṇa translates as "quiescent cessation," which is the fruit-virtue. From "The karmadāna…" onward explains returning to the seat. This is clear.
