對說中，《十誦》。王難開說，即瓶沙緣，如〈羯磨篇〉中引。《五分》。賊難，事同《僧祇》。彼因突入聞說，不為說故，便加苦惱，制令改誦。

> In \[the section on\] reciting facing \[adversity\], in the \*Daśādhyāya-vinaya\*: allowing recitation during king difficulties is the Bimbisāra condition, as cited in the “Chapter on Karmavācanā.” In the \*Mahīśāsaka-vinaya\*: bandit difficulties are the same as in the \*Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya\*. Because they rushed in and heard the recitation, and because \[the bhikṣus\] would not recite for them, they thereupon inflicted afflictions; hence \[the Buddha\] regulated that they alter what they chanted.
