The upper fascicle mostly points to the Doctrinal Manual, the middle fascicle mostly points to the Precept Commentary, and the upper and lower fascicles mostly point to the Karma Commentary. All omissions of this kind share this intention. As in the "Classes of Offenses", regarding the two aniyatas and seven adhikaraṇa-śamathas, after first presenting the general idea, it says: "Since the text and meaning are vast, expounding them is labor in vain and will never exhaust them, hence they are briefly omitted", and so forth. In "Explaining the Marks", regarding the four precepts on defying admonition, the intention is also the same.
