解大界中，初明問答。恐謂兩解，妄行通答故。又準《注羯磨》，結解二法，不得通答；以解在法地，結依自然；故必依次解，人衣食界，理得通答。若下，即指前解，無別法故。

> In revoking the great boundary: first, explaining the questions and answers. It is out of fear that people might think both are revoked together and mistakenly give an all-inclusive response. Furthermore, according to the Annotated Karmavācanā, the two procedures of binding and revoking may not have an all-inclusive response; because revoking takes place on Dharma-ground, while binding relies on the natural \[boundary\]; therefore, one must revoke them in sequence; regarding boundaries for persons, robes, and food, in principle one may give an all-inclusive response. From “if” onward, it refers to the previous revocation, as there is no separate procedure.
