- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.1160](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1805.2.1160)

不犯四節。初不自食。二與作人，還從乞得，義同新故。三鉢中所餘，無由淨故。四為治病，非欲食故。西土患眼，多以酥油灌鼻。

> "Non-offenses" has four clauses. First, not eating it oneself. Second, giving it to a workman and begging it back from him, which is in sense the same as new food. Third, what remains in the bowl, as there is no way to purify it. Fourth, for treating illness, not out of a desire to eat. In the Western lands, when suffering from eye ailments, they mostly pour ghee into the nose.
