四分律行事鈔資持記 2.1419

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.1419](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1805.2.1419)

釋第四，初明食體。無下，示犯相。文下，決通律文。據律緣起，乃尼自食而不云他；今約犯緣，自他俱犯，故云通之。

> Explaining the fourth \[condition\]: First, it clarifies the substance of the food. From 'without' downward, it shows the aspect of the offense. From 'the text' downward, it resolves and harmonizes the Vinaya text. According to the origin story of the Vinaya, it was the nun's own food and did not speak of another's; now regarding the conditions of the offense, taking one's own or another's are both offenses, hence it says 'connecting them'.
