- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.11](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1806.1.11)

已前偈文，法護尊者所作，為廣、略二教通序，前開持、毀之言，以成說、聽之本也。「和合」已下，二教大宗，自分三分：序、正、流通。

> The preceding verse text was composed by Venerable Dharmagupta as a general introduction to both the expanded and abbreviated teachings, opening beforehand the words on adherence and violation in order to establish the basis for speaking and listening. From 'concord' onward is the main body of the two teachings, which naturally divides into three parts: the preface, the main body, and the dissemination.
