‘Dangers’ refers to tigers, wolves, lions, and other wild beasts, down to ants. If it is not troubled by these various creatures and beasts, he should level the ground. If there are stones, trees, stumps, or briars, he should have people dig them out. If there are pits, ditches, channels, or ponds, he should have them filled. If there is fear of flooding and soaking, he should set up embankments in advance. If the land is claimed by others, they should settle it together so that there are no disputes from others. This is called a place of danger.
