If the visitors are more numerous, the resident bhikṣus should seek harmony with the visitors; if they cannot obtain it, they should go outside the boundary to hold poṣadha. If the resident bhikṣus have already completed poṣadha and visiting bhikṣus arrive wishing to hold poṣadha: if \[the visitors\] are fewer or equal in number, they should seek harmony with the resident bhikṣus; if they cannot obtain it, they should go outside the boundary to hold poṣadha.
