When establishing it therein, set three tiers of signposts: the innermost tier is the markers of the māḷaka; the middle tier is the inner markers of the mahāsīmā, which must not merge with or adjoin the māḷaka markers, leaving an interval between them; the outermost tier is the outer markers of the mahāsīmā. First proclaim the māḷaka markers and establish it; the manner of proclamation is as above.
